COMMON SENSE SELF DEFENCE
PROGRAM FOR SCHOOLS

This course has been conducted in schools, colleges and universities over the last 20 years. It provides the student with protective behaviours that help avoid violent situations, light defenses from nonviolent situations and effective responses to assault.

LOW IMPACT SELF DEFENCE PROGRAM DESIGNED FOR THE MATURE AGED.

The physical resistance techniques in this course involve natural movements, requiring limited movement and minimum force because they target areas of skeletal weakness in the attacker.

Ambulance Officers, Blue Nurses, Psychiatric Nurses and Hospital Personnel have been involved in this program. This course involves “Low Impact Self Defence” and provides tactically correct responses with justifiable use of force options, as well as non- forceful management of assaultive behaviour.

CONTROL AND RESTRAINT TACTICS

Many Police, Security Personnel and Correctional Officers have been involved in our Control and Restraint programs.

Ju Jitsu with its control and restraint techniques appeals highly to law enforcement and security personnel, and those who are aware of the importance of defence within legal and moral boundaries.

Control techniques where pain is scientifically applied can regulate the amount of force used. The use of tactically correct and proportionate force techniques can protect you legally.

POLICE CITIZENS YOUTH CLUB
JU JITSU COACHING PROGRAMS

These programs are suitable for junior students from 5 years of age. They improve coordination, balance and confidence. They develop responses of defence, not aggression. Senior students from 16 years of age are also involved in training at Police Youth Clubs. Senior classes include many students in their 50's and 60's.

DEFENSIVE TACTICS TRAINING AGAINST ARMED AGGRESSORS

This course includes :
(a) Static knife attacks (knife to throat)
(b) Moving attacks with edged weapons
(c) Moving attacks with blunt weapons
(d) Disarming an assailant armed with a hand gun
(e) Defencses against miscellanous weapons (broken bottle, baseball bat, etc)
