Description of Syllabus
The objectives of
this course are to develop a program of personal safety
in the home or the workplace. To develop skills of incident
avoidance and personal safety on private and public
transport; on the streets and in crowded areas.
Aim of Syllabus
To develop the skills
and knowledge necessary for individuals to use the method
of avoidance, prevention and self defence in a competent
and responsible manner, using legally defensible techniques.
Course Content

Visual Reflexes - Principles of
awareness include: - Situational analysis, environmental
analysis and indications of attack.
Body Language - Use of our body
language in assault prevention.
Defensive Positioning - Defensive
distancing to protect our personal space.
